I first started working in pastel and ink after attending a plein air workshop at Wild Dog Hill on the outskirts of Whyalla, with South Australian landscape artist Ken Orchard, when I was about 31 years old. It was Ken who encouraged me to keep going. So I started making art late. I worked in regional arts, on the other side of the fence, but it had taken me that long to understand that I had a need to create something for myself, other than helping others create art. Its been a long journey, and I have a long way to go. Thanks for checking in on my travels.
